2026: Floriography
This painting represents an idea that I love, one that I heard several years ago from one of Brene Brown’s books: “Choose discomfort over resentment.” Sitting in vulnerability is hard, but resentment, the petunia’s meaning, is harder. Marigolds lay at the feet of resentment here while simultaneously disappearing into the fog.
Marigolds: death
Petunias: resentment
Framed: 36" x 36"
